Galaxy Surfactants has received a notice from Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) directing closure of the company’s unit located in Taloja by evening of September 18, 2018. In recent past, a minor leakage from a domestic sewage chamber was observed which was rectified and closed to the satisfaction of MPCB officials vide their visit report dated September 12, 2018. There were no other adverse observations in this visit report.
