Havells India is reportedly planning to employ an additional 100-150 people for its Research and Development (R&D) team in the coming two years. The company will hire mostly fresh talent with knowledge of hardware-software co-design, design and artificial intelligence, material technologies and Internet of Things (IoT).
The company would double its R&D spending to around 2% of revenue in the next two years from 0.9% at present.
