According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 2430.17 crore in index futures and options segments on Monday, July 23, 2012.
FIIs were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 488.14 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 2918.31 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 312.42 crore while they also sold stock options worth Rs 18.07 crore.
