Torrent Pharmaceuticals has informed the shareholders’ approval in its Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on July 23, 2012, for the cessation of Shashikant Bhojani to be director of the company due to his retirement from the board with effect from July 23, 2012.
Further approved, the appointment of Leena Srivastava and Haigreve Khaitan, who were appointed as additional directors by the board of directors at its meeting held on October 18, 2011 and January 23, 2012 respectively, as independent non executive directors of the company with effect from July 23, 2012, liable to retire by rotation.
