Bharat Dynamics rises on bagging order worth Rs 200 crore

Bharat Dynamics is currently trading at Rs. 275.10, up by 6.05 points or 2.25% from its previous closing of Rs. 269.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 269.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 277.65 and Rs. 269.40 respectively. So far 7094 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 428.00 on 31-May-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 266.70 on 09-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 289.00 and Rs. 266.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5040.23 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 87.75%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 7.54% and 4.71% respectively.

Bharat Dynamics (BDL), a Defence PSU has received an order worth around Rs 200 crore from DRDO for supply of Medium Range Surface to Air Missile (MRSAM) rear section.

MRSAM is a joint development project between DRDO and Israel Aerospace industries, Israel with BDL as the Nominated Production Agency.

Bharat Dynamics is engaged in manufacturing of Surface to Air missiles (SAMs), Anti-Tank Guided Missiles (ATGMs), underwater weapons, launchers, countermeasures and test equipment.
