JSW Steel has reported crude steel production of 4.18 million tonnes (MT) in Q2FY19, a growth of 6% compared to 3.94 MT over the corresponding period in 2018.
The production of rolled products (flat) increased to 2.96 MT compared to 2.89 MT in Q2FY19, representing a growth of 2%. The production of rolled products (long) during Q2FY19 stood at 0.91 MT, a rise of 17%, as compared to 0.77 MT in Q2FY18.
JSW Steel is one of the largest steel manufacturing companies in India having units in Karnataka and Maharashtra producing crude steel, long steel and flat steel products.
