HCL Technologies soars on entering into partnership with Deutsche Bank

HCL Technologies is currently trading at Rs. 1036.50, up by 17.40 points or 1.71% from its previous closing of Rs. 1019.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1024.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1041.05 and Rs. 1023.40 respectively. So far 2787 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1124.50 on 25-Sep-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 825.10 on 04-Dec-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1058.00 and Rs 985.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 138206.06 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.17%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.18% and 3.65% respectively.

HCL Technologies and Deutsche Bank have entered into strategic partnership to transform the bank’s global cheque processing operations. Under the terms of the agreement, the company will build a cloud-based digital and fully scalable cheque processing platform for the bank. The new IT-platform is expected to go live in 2019.

The new cloud-based IT-platform will enable Deutsche Bank to further reduce the complexity of its IT-landscape, decrease cost, increase straight-through processing capabilities and efficiencies in cheques processing.
