Gujarat Gas Company has reported results for second quarter ended June 30, 2012.
The company has registered a fall of 45.24% in its net profit at Rs 52.89 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 96.58 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, the total income of the company has increased by 30.31% at Rs 780.07 crore for Q2FY13 as compared Rs 598.62 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the group’s net profit after taxes and minority interest declined by 45.93% to Rs 52.06 crore for the Q2FY13 as compared to Rs 96.28 crore in Q1 FY12. However, the total income rose 30.23% to Rs 780.69 crore in the quarter under review as compared to Rs 599.45 crore in the corresponding previous quarter.
