Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has reportedly discovered seven geographical areas (GAs) in ten districts of Tamil Nadu. The company will invest nearly Rs 2,100 crore in coming five years, in a bid to employ around 15,200 direct employments for unskilled, semi-skilled and skilled category.

IOC is the largest enterprise in the country and the foremost ranked Fortune Global 500 Company in India and has presence in the complete hydrocarbon value chain from downstream refining & marketing, pipeline transportation, Petrochemicals, E&P and Gas Marketing.
