Suzlon Energy soars on completing sale of subsidiaries to Canadian Solar

Suzlon Energy is currently trading at Rs. 5.53, up by 0.10 points or 1.84% from its previous closing of Rs. 5.43 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 5.43 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 5.66 and Rs. 5.43 respectively. So far 2292197 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 17.15 on 10-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 5.05 on 01-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 5.84 and Rs. 5.32 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2947.15 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 19.82%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 16.88% and 63.30% respectively.

Suzlon Energy has completed sale of the subsidiaries -- Amun Solarfarms (Amun) and Avighna Solarfarms (Avighna) to Canadian Solar. Accordingly, Amun and Avighna have ceased to be the subsidiaries of the company.
