Tata Steel has organized Disaster Management training for Master Trainers. The third batch of Master Trainers Training for Disaster Management was inaugurated at Tata Steel Security Training Centre on November 20, 2018.
Altogether 25 officers -Doctors, Operation and Maintenance Engineers, Security, Safety and Fire professionals will undergo this training for 10 days and acquire instructional skills on Medical First Responders, Collapsed Structure Search & Rescue, Chemical and Gas Disaster Management and Fire Management. These master trainers after qualifying the test, will in turn train shop floor and departmental personnel on Emergency Management in case of any disaster in Tata Steel plants across India. The training will enable them to be the first responders during emergencies.
