HEG has received an approval for expansion of production capacity of Graphite Electrodes and related products. The company’s existing capacity is 80,000 TPA and it has proposed to increase capacity by 20,000 TPA with investment of approximately of Rs 1200 crore. With this the capacity utilization will increase from 85% to 90%.
HEG is engaged in manufacturing of graphite electrodes, which are used by manufacturers of steel. The company’s segments include Graphite, Power and Unallocable items/others.
