NMDC expects to start production at Nagarnar steel plant by July 2019

NMDC is expecting to start production at its Nagarnar steel plant by July 2019. The company is setting up 3 million tonne per annum (MTPA) integrated steel plant at Nagarnar in Bastar, Chhattisgarh.

Currently, progress of civil work, structural and equipment erection of Nagarnar plant is in an advanced stage and progressing in full swing.

NMDC is a state-controlled mineral producer of the Government of India. It is fully owned by the Government of India and is under administrative control of the Ministry of Steel.
