Bharat Electronics informs about reappointment of independent directors

Pursuant to Regulation 30(2) of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015, Bharat Electronics has informed that Ministry of Defense, Government of India vide its letter dated 22nd November 2018, re-appointed the Non-official Independent Directors on the Board of the company for a period of one year from the date of completion of their present tenure namely; Dr Bhaskar Ramamurthi (with effect from 02nd December 2018 to 1st December 2019), Dr R K Shevgaonkar (with effect from 02nd December 2018 to 1st December 2019), Usha Mathur (with effect from 23rd December 2018 to 22nd December 2019) &  Sharad Sanghi (with effect from 07th January 2019 to 06th January 2020). Pursuant to Regulation 30(2) of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015, the company has further informed that Ministry of Defence, Government of India vide its letter dated 27th November 2018, appointed Vinay Kumar Katyal, General Manager (BEL) for the post of Director (Bangalore Complex), Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL). Dr Bhaskar Ramamurthi, Dr R K Shevgaonkar, Usha Mathur and Sharad Sanghi, will resume the charge as Non-official Independent Directors on the Board of the company as mentioned above and Vinay Kumar Katyal, assumed the charge as Additional Director designated as Director (Bangalore Complex) on the Board of the company with effect from 27th November 2018 to hold office up to the date of 65th Annual General Meeting and approved by the Board of Directors vide circular resolution dated 28th November 2018. Brief profile of the above mentioned Non-official Independent Directors & Director (Bangalore Complex) along with updated list of Directors as on 28th November, 2018 are enclosed for information.
