HDFC firms up on reporting 25% jump in its Q1 consolidated profit

Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) is currently trading at Rs 676.00, up by 2.40 points or 0.36% from its previous closing of Rs 673.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 678.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs 678.90 and Rs 674.80 respectively. So far 3040 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 725.70 on 17-Feb-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs 600.85 on 19-Dec-2011.

Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC), on consolidated basis, has registered a growth of 25.08% in its net profit after tax attribute to the Corporation and its subsidiaries at Rs 1275.86 crore for Q1FY13 as compared to Rs 1020.06 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company has increased by 21.64% at Rs 7276.51 crore for quarter under review as compared Rs 5981.96 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
