As the wave of protest against corruption builds up to splash on government, Anna Hazare on the second day of his fast has warned the former to bring in the stronger Lokpal Bill at the earliest. The protest was getting lukewarm response from the people, however, the picture was changed when the fast venue - Janatar Mantar in Delhi was jam-packed.

“The way this wave of protest against corruption is building in the country, I am getting this feeling that the government would have to bring a strong Lokpal Bill or else it will have to go,” Hazare said. According to India Against Corruption, Hazare’s health is normal and there is no issue with his pressure and sugar level. The core team members Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and Gopal Rai - are on fast since past week demanding the constitution of a high-level independent probe into graft charges against several members of the Union Cabinet.

The Lokpal Bill, which was cleared in the lower assembly in the winter session, is expected not only to curb the corruption activities in country but also punish the MPs and other political leaders who are holding top positions despite graft charges against them.
