With reference to earlier intimations for change in Directors of Religare Enterprises (‘Company’) wherein Board of Directors of the company had appointed Ashok Mehta and Siddharth Mehta as Non-Executive Non-Independent Directors subject to the RBI approval. The company had submitted the application to RBI for approval. In this regard, Religare Enterprises has informed that RBI vide its letter dated 13th December, 2018 received on December 18th 2018 has communicated that the company’s request for appointing Ashok Mehta and Siddharth Mehta as Non-Executive Non-Independent Directors cannot be acceded to.
