Chambal Fertilisers gains on commencing commercial production at Rajasthan’s urea plant

Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals is currently trading at Rs. 151.05, up by 4.10 points or 2.79% from its previous closing of Rs. 146.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 147.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 155.75 and Rs. 147.95 respectively. So far 6796 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 209.45 on 27-Apr-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 128.25 on 08-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 155.75 and Rs. 142.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6116.17 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 58.65%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 21.23% and 19.80% respectively.

Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals has declared the commencement of commercial production from Gadepan-III Plant with effect from January 01, 2019. The new Urea plant has production capacity of 1.34 million MT of Urea per annum at the existing site at Gadepan, District, Kota in the state of Rajasthan.

Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals is one of the largest private sector fertilizer producers in India. It has three divisions catering agri products, shipping & textiles.
