Ambuja Cements reported a rise of 1.14% in July 2012 cement production at 1.687 million tonnes from 1.668 million tonnes for July 2011. Meanwhile, the company’s dispatches were at 1.697 million tonnes compared with 1.676 million tonnes, registering an increase of 1.25%.
For January-July 2012 period, cement production and dispatches were 13.365 million tonnes and 13.372 million tonnes respectively, compared with 12.458 million tonnes and 12.451 million tonnes respectively in the corresponding period last year.
