NHAI to ink pact with IOC, BPCL, HPCL for issuing FASTags at petrol pump outlets

National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) will ink pact with Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), BPCL and HPCL to ensure availability of FASTags at petrol pump outlets across India. Promoted by the NHAI, Indian Highways Management Company (IHMCL) has been mandated to implement the National Electronic Toll Collection Programme (NETC) in the country under the brand name ‘FASTag’.

In the first phase, the tags will be available across 50 fuel stations in Delhi NCR, which will subsequently be expanded to outlets across India.

IOC is the largest enterprise in the country and the foremost ranked Fortune Global 500 Company in India and has presence in the complete hydrocarbon value chain from downstream refining & marketing, pipeline transportation, Petrochemicals, E&P and Gas Marketing.
