Meanwhile, the Japanese market is surging after US stocks rebounded Friday. In addition, exporters' shares were bolstered by a weaker yen.
Nikkei 225 jumped 508.43 points or 2.60% to 20,070.39, Hang Seng surged 172.28 points or 0.67% to 25,798.31, Taiwan Weighted climbed 194.18 points or 2.07% to 9,576.69, Shanghai Composite increased 10.96 points or 0.44% to 2,525.83, FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI spurt 10.35 points or 0.62% to 1,680.13, Straits Times increased 39.00 points or 1.27% to 3,098.23, Jakarta Composite improved 51.32 points or 0.82% to 6,325.86, and KOSPI Shares up by 22.28 points or 1.11% to 2,032.53.
