FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per January 10 data: NSDL

10 Jan 2019 Evaluate

The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net buyers in equity and debt segments both, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 4402.40 crore against gross selling of Rs 3924.61 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 477.79 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1315.73 crore with gross sales of Rs 881.57 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 434.16 crore in debt.

In the hybrid segment, the gross selling was of Rs 0.07 crore against no buying. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 0.07 crore in hybrid segment.
