FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per January 11 data: NSDL

11 Jan 2019 Evaluate

The FIIs as per Friday’s data were net sellers in equity and debt segments both, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 4074.25 crore against gross selling of Rs 4381.84 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 307.59 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1016.07 crore with gross sales of Rs 1617.62 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 601.55 crore in debt.

In the hybrid segment, the gross selling was of Rs 0.38 crore against no buying. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 0.38 crore in hybrid segment.
