NMDC reports 21.87 MT production of iron ore up to December

NMDC has reported 21.87 million tonne (MT) of iron ore production and logged sales volume of 22.14 MT up to the month of December 2018.

The company’s Chhattisgarh mines produced 14.60 MT of iron ore and registered sales volume of 15.95 MT, while Karnataka mines produced 7.27 MT of iron ore and sold 6.19 MT of iron ore up to December 2018.

NMDC is a state-controlled mineral producer of the Government of India. It is fully owned by the Government of India and is under administrative control of the Ministry of Steel.
