HUL falls despite reporting 9% rise in Q3 net profit

Hindustan Unilever is currently trading at Rs. 1746.00, down by 0.23 points or 4.60% from its previous closing of Rs. 1750.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1749.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1768.65 and Rs. 1728.65 respectively. So far 62173 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1870.50 on 17-Dec-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1281.60 on 16-Mar-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1793.20 and Rs. 1728.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 376432.45 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 67.19%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.40% and 13.41% respectively.

Hindustan Unilever (HUL) has reported a rise of 8.90% in its net profit at Rs 1,444 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2018 as compared to Rs 1,326 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 10.55% at Rs 9,664 crore for Q3FY19 as compared Rs 8,742 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
