TI Financial Holdings has informed that the Board on January 18, 2019, has approved notice of postal ballot alongwith the explanatory statement for seeking shareholders’ approval for change of name of the company from ‘Tl Financial Holdings’ to ‘Cholamandalam Financial Holdings’ and consequential amendment to the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the company, subject to the approval of Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Stock Exchanges, Central/State Government and other regulatory authorities as may be applicable. The resolution proposed in the aforesaid notice is in supersession to the special resolution passed by the company on November 12, 2018.
