TV18 Broadcast has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2012.
On standalone basis, the company has reported a net loss of Rs 7.79 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2012 against net profit of Rs 23.47 crore for the corresponding period last fiscal. However, total income increased by 8.92% at Rs 136.91 crore during the quarter under review from Rs 125.70 crore in the year-ago period.
On Consolidated basis, the company has reported a net loss of Rs 23.45 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2012 against net profit of Rs 21.12 crore for the corresponding period last fiscal. However, total income increased by 31.50% at Rs 346.89 crore during the quarter under review from Rs 263.79 crore in the year-ago period.
