NMDC plans to ink MoU with Stamico for mineral exploration in Tanzania

NMDC is planning to enter into a MoU with Tanzania’s country State Mining Corporation (Stamico), for mineral exploration. The company is currently holding four mining licences covering over 38.8 square km in Tanzania. The company is also putting up a four-tonne per hour capacity processing plant in the African country.

NMDC is a state-controlled mineral producer of the Government of India. It is fully owned by the Government of India and is under administrative control of the Ministry of Steel.
