Biocon reports over 2-fold jump in Q3 consolidated net profit

Biocon has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2018.

The company has reported a rise of 66.36% in its net profit at Rs 72.70 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 43.70 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 23.08% at Rs 774.80 crore for Q3FY19 as compared Rs 629.50 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported over 2-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 217.20 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 91.90 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 43.47% at Rs 1,566.40 crore for Q3FY19 as compared Rs 1,091.80 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
