Physical rubber prices made a mixed closing on Saturday

Physical rubber prices made a mixed closing on Saturday due to inactive weakened session, while the futures showed some improvement at the closing.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety remain unchanged at Rs. 180/ kg, while RSS- 5 variety closed lower at Rs. 173.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs. 174/ kg.

In the futures market, contract of RSS- 4 August delivery increased to Rs. 179.15 compared to its previous closing of 177.90, while contract September delivery closed at Rs. 176.38 compared to its previous closing of Rs.175.21 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
