Bharti Airtel shines despite losing 5.70 crore mobile users in December 2018

Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 313.15, up by 6.00 points or 1.95% from its previous closing of Rs. 307.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 305.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 317.65 and Rs. 305.25 respectively. So far 93618 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 449.15 on 07-Feb-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 277.00 on 22-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 317.65 and Rs. 294.95 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 122780.14 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 67.14%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 31.03% and 1.83% respectively.

Bharti Airtel has lost 5.70 crore mobile customers in December 2018, its mobile customer base in India stood at 28.42 crore at the end of December 2018.

The company had 34.10 crore mobile customers at the end of November, implying the company lost around 5.70 crore customers in December. However, the company has witnessed rise in 4G customer base. Overall, 4G customer base stood at 7.71 crore at the end of the quarter.
