Bharti Airtel reports 72% fall in Q3 consolidated net profit

Bharti Airtel has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2018.

The company has reported around 4-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 227.10 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 64.30 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 3.08% at Rs 12,374.20 crore for Q3FY19 as compared Rs 12,767.60 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 71.81% in its net profit at Rs 86.20 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 305.80 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased marginally by 0.97% at Rs 20,586.70 crore for Q3FY19 as compared Rs 20,388.20 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
