V-Mart Retail reports 14% rise in Q3 net profit

V-Mart Retail has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2018.

The company has reported a rise of 13.63% in its net profit at Rs 41.68 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 36.68 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 26.73% at Rs 467.55 crore for Q3FY19 as compared Rs 368.94 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

V-Mart Retail is one of the pioneers in setting up stores across various small Indian towns and cities. The company primarily operates in Tier-II and Tier-III cities, with a chain of ‘value retail’ departmental stores offering apparels, general merchandise and kirana, catering to the entire family.
