Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals (MRPL) has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2018.

The company has reported a net loss of Rs 267.72 crore for the quarter under review against net profit of Rs 969.88 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 16.32% at Rs 20286.39 crore for Q3FY19 as compared Rs 17439.96 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

MRPL is engaged in the business of refining crude oil. It offers high speed diesel oil, fuel oil and motor spirit. It operates as a subsidiary of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation.
