Physical Rubber prices witness firmness on Saturday

Physical Rubber prices showed firmness on Saturday due to improved demand against the ongoing supply crunch in the market. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety gained to 125.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 125/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety jumped to 120.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 120/ kg.

In the futures market, March delivery fell to Rs 129.55 compared to its previous closing of Rs 130.21, while April delivery was at Rs 133.50 compared to its previous close of Rs 134.37 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
