Torrent Pharmaceuticals is recalling around 2.30 lakh bottles of tablets used for treatment of high blood pressure (BP) from the US and Puerto Rico. The company has recalled the tablets on account of deviations from the current goods manufacturing norms. The tablets were manufactured by Torrent Pharma in its Mehsana facility in India.

Torrent Pharmaceuticals is Flagship Company of the Torrent group, a leader in cardiovascular and central nervous system segments. It also has presence in gastro-intestinal, diabetology, anti-infective and pain management segments.
