Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Directorate General of Training, Government of India, New Delhi, has ranked Ramco Cements’ P A C Ramasamy Raja Private Industrial Training Institute (ITI), located at Ariyalur, as 3rd amongst 33 Private Industrial Training Institutes with a composite score of 73.7% under STRIVE Project, at the National Level ITI Evaluation Committee Meeting.
This ITI was established in the year 2010 by The Ramco Cements in Ariyalur which is one of the most backward districts of Tamil Nadu.
Ramco Cements is the flagship company of the Ramco Group, a well-known business group of South India. The main product of the company is Portland cement, manufactured in eight state-of-the art production facilities that includes Integrated Cement plants and Grinding units.
