Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 10,17,692.97 crore on March 12 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 1,55,72,797.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 22,115.05 crore, Stock Futures Rs 54,709.73 crore and Index Options Rs 8,85,716.09 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 55,152.10 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.81, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.85 and that of Stock Options was 0.44.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were Bajaj Finserv (1.92), Larsen & Toubro (1.91), Bharat Petroleum Corporation (1.59), UltraTech Cement (1.53) and Ramco Cements (1.39).
Among most active underlying, Reliance Industries witnessed a contraction of 1.13 million units of Open Interest in the March month futures contract, followed by ICICI Bank witnessing an addition of 3.68 million units of Open Interest in the March month contract, HDFC Bank witnessed an addition of 1.65 million units of Open Interest in the March month contract, Maruti Suzuki India witnessed an addition of 0.02 million units of Open Interest in the March month contract and IndusInd Bank witnessed an addition of 0.67 million units of Open Interest in the March month future contract.
