Physical Rubber prices witness weakness on Monday

Physical Rubber prices showed weakness on Monday on expectations of a rise in rubber imports, and subdued demand from tyre manufacturers. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety fell to 128/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 129/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety declined to 125/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 126/ kg.

In the futures market, April delivery declined to Rs 130.44 compared to its previous closing of Rs 130.65 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
