Hindustan Aeronautics gains on producing 16th LCA ‘Tejas’ for IAF

Hindustan Aeronautics is currently trading at Rs. 716.95, up by 4.60 points or 0.65% from its previous closing of Rs. 712.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 717.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 718.95 and Rs. 712.95 respectively.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1184.00 on 28-Mar-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 603.25 on 18-Feb-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 718.95 and Rs. 707.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 23975.58 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 89.97%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 8.73% and 1.30% respectively.

Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL) has produced 16th light combat aircraft (LCA) ‘Tejas’ as per the target. The company has orders from the Indian Air Force (IAF) for 40 LCAs (16 each in Initial Operational Clearance (IOC) and Final Operation Clearance (FOC) configurations and eight trainers) and the 16th LCA was as per the target till March 31.

HAL is Bengaluru based Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSU) Company engaged in the design, development, manufacture, repair, overhaul, upgrade and servicing of a wide range of products including, aircraft, helicopters, aero-engines, avionics, accessories and aerospace structures.
