Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 22,75,906.54 crore on March 28 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 3,43,44,867.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 43,227.72 crore, Stock Futures Rs 1,19,537.29 crore and Index Options Rs 20,33,845.83 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 79,295.70 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.81, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.83 and that of Stock Options was 0.43.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were Bosch (9.00), Tata Motors--DVR (2.73), Adani Power (2.70), NHPC (2.28) and Infosys (2.09).
Among most active underlying, State Bank of India witnessed an addition of 11.40 million units of Open Interest in the April month futures contract, followed by Reliance Industries witnessing an addition of 6.13 million units of Open Interest in the April month contract, ICICI Bank witnessed a contraction of 11.74 million units of Open Interest in the April month contract, Yes Bank witnessed an addition of 11.30 million units of Open Interest in the April month contract and HDFC Bank witnessed a contraction of 1.70 million units of Open Interest in the April month future contract.
