Reliance Communications (RCOM) is planning to invest Rs 1,500 crore in optimizing telecom network and data services this fiscal, from capex guidance. Out of this, the company has already invested Rs 369 crore in the first quarter, financial year 2012-13. It aims to invest these funds across the company's network in India as well as global cable network.
On standalone basis, the company has reported a net loss of Rs 252 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2012 against net loss of Rs 272 crore for the corresponding period last fiscal. Total income decreased by 6.93% at Rs 2794 crore during the quarter under review from Rs 3002 crore in the year-ago period.
