Opto Circuits reports 19% surge in Q1 consolidated net profit

Opto Circuits (India) has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2012.

The company, on consolidated basis, has reported a rise of 18.58% in its net profit after tax minority interest at Rs 138.02 crore for the quarter under review as compared to a net profit of Rs 116.39 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income from operation of the company has increased by 36.53% at Rs 717.78 crore for Q1FY13 as compared Rs 525.73 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Opto Circuits India is a multinational medical device company headquartered out of Bengaluru, India. The company designs, develop, manufacture, market and distribute a range of medical products that are used by healthcare establishments in more than 150 countries.
