According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 700.79 crore in index futures and options segments on Tuesday, August 14, 2012.
FIIs were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 289.48 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 411.31 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 427.63 crore, while they also sold stock options worth Rs 113.31 crore.
