Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 9,74,652.40 crore on April 9 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 1,44,84,141.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 18,369.75 crore, Stock Futures Rs 46,130.00 crore and Index Options Rs 8,67,155.83 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 42,996.82 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.85, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.88 and that of Stock Options was 0.48.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were Shree Cement (3.00), Bosch (1.43), Adani Power (1.31), Mind Tree (1.00) and Icici Prudential Life Insurance (0.97).
Among most active underlying, Reliance Industries witnessed a contraction of 0.07 million units of Open Interest in the April month futures contract, followed by State Bank of India witnessing a contraction of 2.28 million units of Open Interest in the April month contract, ICICI Bank witnessed an addition of 0.10 million units of Open Interest in the April month contract, Yes Bank witnessed an addition of 0.19 million units of Open Interest in the April month contract and Indiabulls Housing Finance witnessed an addition of 0.29 million units of Open Interest in the April month future contract.
