Steel Authority of India (SAIL) has supplied special quality steel for India's indigenous artillery gun 'Dhanush'. Special quality forging steel was supplied from the company’s Durgapur-based Alloy Steels Plant.
With this, SAIL has once again established its commitment to fulfilling the country's requirement and strengthening India's defence systems.
SAIL is India’s largest steel producing company. The company is among the five Maharatnas of the country’s Central Public Sector Enterprises. The company has five integrated steel plants, three special plants, and one subsidiary in different parts of the country.
