Physical rubber prices ruled steady on Wednesday

Physical Rubber prices ruled steady on Wednesday on expectations of rise in imports due to increased demand from domestic stockists. Spot prices for RSS-4 and RSS-5 variety closed unchanged at Rs 128.50/ kg and Rs 126/ kg respectively.

In the futures market, April delivery added to Rs 130.95 compared to its previous closing of Rs 130.89, while May delivery was at Rs 132.40 compared to its previous close of Rs 132.31 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
