Bond yields traded flat on Thursday, as traders remain concerned tracking overnight gains in crude oil prices.

In the global market, US Treasury yields slid on Wednesday, as tame underlying US inflation data reinforced expectations that the Federal Reserve would hold interest rates steady or cut them once by the end of the year. Furthermore, oil prices fell after US crude stockpiles surged to their highest levels in almost 17 months amid record production.

Back home, the yields on new 10 year Government Stock were trading flat at its previous close of 7.37% on Wednesday.

The benchmark five-year interest rates were trading 2 basis points higher at 7.15% from its previous close of 7.13% on Wednesday.
