Parabolic Drugs rises despite reporting 36% fall in Q1 net profit

Parabolic Drugs is currently trading at Rs. 23.35, up by 0.15 points or 0.65% from its previous closing of Rs. 23.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 22.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 27.80 and Rs. 21.90 respectively. So far 51350 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 40.80 on 31-Oct-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 19.30 on 05-Jun-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 27.80 and Rs. 21.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 144.52 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 39.23% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.10% and 41.67% respectively.

Parabolic Drugs has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2012.

The company has reported a fall of 35.70% in its net profit at Rs 9.76 crore for the quarter under review as compared to a net profit of Rs 15.18 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, the total income from operation of the company has increased by 62.72% at Rs 307.32 crore for Q1FY13 as compared Rs 188.87 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Parabolic Drugs has recommend dividend of Rs 0.25 per share on fully paid equity shares of the company for the year 2011-2012.
