TV18 Broadcast has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2019.
The company has reported a net profit of Rs 17.98 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2019 as against to net loss of Rs 4.52 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased marginally by 3.77% at Rs 302.04 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 291.08 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018.
For the year ended March 31, 2019, the company has posted a net profit of Rs 85.05 crore against net loss of Rs 58.71 crore for the previous year. Total income of company increased 12.54% at Rs 1,093.37 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 971.52 crore for year ended March 31, 2018.
On consolidated basis, the company has reported over 6- fold jump in its net profit of Rs 29.90 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2019 as against net profit of Rs 4.67 crore for the corresponding quarter of the FY18. Total consolidated income of the company increased 56.39% at Rs 1,196.55 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 765.12 crore for the same quarter ended previous year.
For the year ended March 31, 2019, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted many fold jumps in its net profit at Rs 210.40 crore as compared to Rs 8.93 crore for the previous year. Total income of company has reported over 3-fold jump at Rs 4,978.17 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 1,504.18 crore for year ended March 31, 2018.
